Construction for Hamilton Fiber Internet has been an ongoing project for several years. Our goal throughout this entire project is to provide everyone within our service area with the fastest, most reliable fiber internet connection directly to our customers’ homes.
Our hardworking fiber construction crews are taking steps towards completion every day! The most exciting announcement is that these crews have finished all mainline construction in every community within our service area. For our customers, this means that we are even closer to getting everyone connected to fiber internet – which boasts faster download and upload speeds, seamless streaming, and reliable connectivity.
As we get closer to finishing our entire fiber project, we plan to completely retire all copper facilities in our communities, beginning with: Aurora, Doniphan, Giltner, Hampton, Hordville, Marquette, Phillips, Stockham and Trumbull. If you are not already on fiber, it is imperative to contact our team to convert your phone and/or internet service as soon as possible in order to prevent any disruption to your service. In addition, crews are busy in Litchfield, Ravenna, Gibbon and Shelton preparing to convert all customers to fiber. Customers in these communities can expect a phone call from our customer service department to schedule an appointment for their fiber conversion.
As for our other communities in Central Nebraska, fiber construction is complete! If you have not already converted to fiber, our customer service teams will be contacting you to get this done.
