How many Devices can I install the app on? Customers can install the app on up to 5 devices with the standard package. This includes two concurrent streaming sessions to watch two devices at once. Customers can purchase 2 more concurrent streaming and 5 additional devices for $5.00, up to 15 devices.

How many concurrent Streaming sessions do I get? Two concurrent streaming sessions are included with each package. More can be purchased in increments of 2, for $5.00. A streaming session is one device streaming Cobalt content at a time. That may be a TV or mobile device. For customers without additional sessions, up to 5 devices can be registered, but only two may be streaming at one time.

What Devices work with the Cobalt TV App? Any device that allows streaming, which may include iPhones/tablets, Android devices, Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire Stick devices.

Does Cobalt TV Streaming offer local channels? Yes. The channel packages available with streaming are the same packages available with a set top box, including local channels.

What features are included? The Cobalt TV Streaming App includes the following features: onscreen channel guide with ability to select a channel number; program search; Restart TV; pause, rewind and fast forward live tv; quick guide to see the most recent channels you watched; view the most popular channels in your area or the local weather. Weather radar is not available at this time.

What is Restart TV? Restart TV allows you to go back to the beginning of any currently-airing or in-progress recorded program that has the restart option. Programs that have this option display a Green Restart icon in the program description. What is the price? Cobalt Streaming packages are priced the same as the current packages and Element, Essential and Ultra packages are available for $59.95, $116.45 and $127.45. All streaming packages include two streaming session. Customers can purchase 2 additional concurrent sessions for $5. Multiple additional concurrent sessions can be added on.

Am I locked into a contract? There is no contract for Cobalt TV.

What is the difference between Cobalt TV Streaming and WTVE? Cobalt TV Streaming is the app that delivers your live Cobalt TV feed. All 200+ channels are delivered, similar to the Set Top Box and programming is live. Customers have the option to pause, go back, or restart live TV. WTVE allows customers to access content through individual available apps, (e.g. NBC Sports, History Channel, etc.) Each app is accessed and logged into individually. Content is usually not live but is shown on demand. All Cobalt TV customers have access to WTVE and the on-demand content they are used to receiving with that feature.

Can I take my Cobalt Streaming with me anywhere when I travel? At this time, Cobalt Streaming can be accessed on registered devices according to their IP address. If you have had streaming on your iPad, that can go with you. If you register another device with an IP address in another location, your streaming options may be limited.

How do I register a device? Upon signing up for the streaming service, customers will receive an email with a login and passphrase. They have ten days to register up to five devices with that login and passphrase. Customers will follow the user guide instructions for their device and download the app. The email received looks similar to this:
